I have updated my game with the newest hotfix and still cannot play. I have also done a repair to the game.
I have removed all CC and Mods, which does allow me to play. If I just use mods, I can play. If I just use CC, I can play. But I cannot have CC and mods together, otherwise I get the "Fail to Launch" error.
I have also deleted all Last Exceptions and then tried to run. Still comes back with the "Fail to Launch" error. There is no new Last Exception created. I do instead see a new Last Crash.

Have you tried 50/50 or just put in one mod, one cc to test ?
I just did the 50/50 with the CC since I know that is where my problem lies. I had 3 CC that cause me to have the same error as before.
With that, I decided to fully load up a household. That loaded up fine. I guess I'll have to see about those CC that aren't working and see exactly what is wrong.
androgsam Could be they're just not working anymore and need updating.
androgsam If you identify a culprit, please let me know what it is and I can run a test.
