Failed to launch error
I have updated my game, the hot fix of March 18th, and my game still doesn't launch with cc installed. I still get the message "Failed to launch game" when cc is installed.
Hey, I play on Mac and I use CurseForge for all my CC so it usually tells me when something needs updating. I’ve been trying to load The Sims 4 but it just goes unresponsive and won’t even open after a few minutes, then crashes. When I take all my mods out the game works perfectly fine, so I’m guessing it’s something in my mods folder. Has anyone else had this or know what might be causing it?
I'm having this issue now - I'm on windows and i've taken all MODS and CC out and game loads - When i put some CC in it either says not responding or says "Failed to load" its only been like this after the update - I've tried repairing my game and that didnt work :(
Im wreaking my brain trying to find a fix or speak to someone :( Let me know if you find anything that helps!
I know I just wanted to sit down and play my game but I can’t even play any of my saves due to not being able to see anything in the build and my characters just look all black 🤧
Tbh it usually is one mod or cc but in this case it seems to be a problem with most of them. Nobody can play with them. And the so called patch to fix it broke it even more. But they released the fix and then went raidio silent,like it's been a whole day and no one can open the game i would expect at least a statement smh.
Omg, I didn’t even realise I was playing like normal before the update happened. Automatically now I’m so upset that this has happened. I just feel like they don’t know what they’re doing. No one wanted this new marketplace.
It's the new patch update it dosn't work for 90% of us.It's been about a day.
Oh how annoying does anyone have any information on when they might be repairing it

Thank you - Looks like a lot of people have the same issue! - Do you or does anyone know if EA are aware and investigating to find a fix? I've not seen anything mentioned by them and I haven't able to get in contact with them as chat bot keeps pushing me through the same circle :(
