@666_Carbide_666 Hi! Just having a fire burning will not prevent your sims from feeling the effects of cold weather. You can click on the fireplace for the "warm self" interaction but this is temporary. To prevent them feeling the cold effects, they either need to wear a cold weather outfit or you can install a thermostat and choose "Set thermostat: warmer".
- @JonaO703 really? This makes the fireplaces unusable, because the thermos are bugged.
A fireplace that warm a Sim temporary is so unrealistic. A fireplace makes a whole house warm.
Is there a way to have Summer all the time? @666_Carbide_666 You can disable the effects from weather through the Game Options menu. Click on Environment and uncheck the box next to "Enable Temperature Effects On Sims".
@JonaO703Have done this, but it does not work correctly 🤷
It is the same useless option like the "animals aging" option
@666_Carbide_666 If disabling the options aren't working for you and you aren't playing with mods, then I suggest creating a bug report. I'm currently testing the option to disable "temperature effects" and will provide updates.
@JonaO703For some reason I don't make full Bug report.
I will fix it by myself.
@666_Carbide_666 Okay. I hope that you are able to fix it. I've been playing for a while with the temperature effects disabled and have not experienced any problems. Happy Simming!
