Frustrated With Sims 4 Death Ambrosia Not Working - Help

My sim is a scientist and took the 'ghost goo' one day and suddenly was dead via 'overheating' which made no sense as she was inside, but she never returned from being a ghost after the position.  ...

ive used the same batch of ambrosia in all cases with inconsistent results
