Game barely working

Since the update that came with the Lovestruck pack, my game have been having serious issues that makes it unplayable. The icons on the control bar are all messed up and don't always work, the sims profiles are messed up too and so is the control menu which makes it impossible to save. It really sucks because I bought the new pack and was exited to play with it and bugs happen to my game every time a pack releases.
