Game Crashes Back to World Selection After Clicking on a Lot

My game works, i can make a household, i can clikc into worlds, however when i click a lot, i get the music, but then it puts me back into world selection, then if i try to click on a house, i get told to create a new household. i've tried deleting and redowloading, disabled mods, restarted pc, and whatnot. what do I do?
