Game crashes on start up when i install ANY cc/mods

If I install ANY cc/mod, my game crashes on start up. The CC and mods I'm installing are functional.

If I reinstall my game, and install the mods before I open the game for the first time - any mod or cc I've installed works. But any after that crashes my game and I need to reinstall everything to get a new cc added. (Creating a new electronic arts folder doesn't work, I need to reinstall everything). On the odd occasion i get the error that "data files are missing". Game works when I remove CC. But it's NOT broken CC. Because as I said, if I install the mods/cc before I open the game for the first time - they all work. 

Please help. I never had this problem before. I think it started when I upgraded to windows 11 not entirely sure but i can't revert now because I reset my PC to factory settings thinking it was my PC that was the problem and now I can't go back to windows 10.

    @Bonnieemmz  Do you use a third-party antivirus?  If so, try setting exceptions for Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe, and if that doesn't help, temporarily disable the antivirus and test.  As long as you don't do anything other than open Origin and Sims 4, your computer should be safe.  It's a good idea to have your mods already downloaded before disabling the antivirus.

    If you don't use a third-party program, you may have Windows Defender's Controlled Folder Access enabled.  In that case, please either disable it or set exclusions as described here:

    Please also let me know whether you use OneDrive.

    @Bonnieemmz One or more mods are causing the problem. Go to documents\electronic arts\the sims 4 create a Mods2 folder, transfer one mod from the mods folder to mods2, each time you transfer, start the game to check if the error has disappeared or not. Do this until the problem goes away, once the problem goes away move all your mods back except the one causing the problem.
