Game crashes when searching in build/buy

My Sims 4 game crashes every time I am in buy/build mode and I try to search for a item, I can type 1 letter and then it freezes and crashes so if you could help me figure out what the issue is, that would be great. It won't let me upload the crash report so I am not sure what to do about that. Thank you!
