Hello! Thanks for responding.
When I try that, the game gets the infinite loading screen when I click resume game. There's something that prevents the game from loading when removed from mods folder.. I don't know what either.
Any suggestions?
Okay, put the mods back now, but leave in the newly generated Resource.cfg file (don't use the old one). Check against Broken/Updated Mods & CC and Previously Broken as you put things back.

Hi! So I have narrowed it down to single custom content file. When this file is removed, the game won't start. But when the file is present the game always crashes. I've removed all other custom content + mods except Better Exceptions.
I tried playing Load Game rather than Resume Game (without the file) from the main menu but the game is showing me an error code now and recommending that I relaunch the game.
I'm not sure what I can do at this point.. I tried searching online and nobody seems to have experienced this. It's like the game and the file have a toxic relationship

What file is it? That might help with finding solutions.
