Game keeps crashing but won't generate lastcrash.txt

Every time I load up Sims 4, I can play for either 2 minutes or 1 hour before my game freezes and shortly thereafter crashes to desktop. No lastcrash.txt generates, though? This issue has only starte...

    Okay so I did what puzzleaddict suggested and then I ended up doing the 50/50 method. Strangely enough, a default replacement skin was causing my game to CTD. It was the feather skinblend default replacement by loveryss. 

    Now that it's removed, I can play the game with no hiccups again :)

Thank you so much for your advice. I've gone and uninstalled/reinstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from 2015 and newer and reverted the CPU Turbo Boost settings to default. I'll see if that fixes my game!

However,  last night I played on vanilla and didn't crash - so definitely a mod issue. I started on the 50/50 method and removed CC (such as cas or build mode items) and crashed today, but this time a lastcrash.txt did generate.

I'll continue doing the 50/50 method and hopefully find the stubborn mod lol
