Game Loading is in progress

Question

While playing my game I cannot go into build mode or allow my Sims to travel. When I try to go into build mode it say "Game loading is in progress" and it says the same thing when I try to get my Sims to travel. Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do about it?

@mzwink87 Are you using mods ? If so, did you test without ?
