Try to find exactly what CC is causing that by trying the half and half method: remove half of the CC files, open the game and see if it loads. If it loads, then the broken CC might be in the other half. If it doesn't load, then you should continue on splitting that half into half again, and so on, until finding the culprit.
Don't forget to delete the "localthumbcache" file from Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 every time you remove or add CC to ensure that the problem is solved. @Honey-Gumdrops Could you please try this?
Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
Start with New to test if you can load a save.
If that works:
Download a fresh, new CC item and put that in your new Mods folder.
Launch the game to test.
