Game randomly freezes & crashes

I cannot figure out what is wrong with my game and I’ve tried EVERYTHING… has anyone else had this issue of the game freezing to where you have to completely shut down your computer in order to get the game to shut down ? I really don’t think it’s my PC because it does the same thing when I play on my Mac as well. I just bought so many new packs and I can’t even enjoy or play them because the game freezes within a few minutes, I’m lucky if I can go an hour before it freezes up. Please help ☹️

    Are you playing the same save file on each computer? Could you provide full specs of each machine, including OS, so we can get a clearer picture of your setup.

    At what point is the game freezing, is it always at the same point?

    Have you tried a clean Sims 4 folder? This means moving or renaming your existing one in Documents > Electronic Arts and then launching the game so a new one is created, free of all your user data. Play for a while and see how it performs. Don't move any of your current saves/Tray items/Mods into the new folder.
