Game still not working after 3/6/2024 update

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.105.345.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all except the last four released. No kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Everytime I log in
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot interact with Sims or my character. Can I interact with objects and pets.
What do you expect to see? The social pie menu
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

It's been since Feb 27, I have not been able to play. None of my saves with interact with other Sims. I can't click on my Sims for any interaction. I can just click on objects and pets. I have repaired the game multiple times. I have removed all mods (they are on my desktop). I have deleted localthumbnail.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the issue still persist. I thought the patch on 3/6. Was supposed to help, but same issue. I'm at a lost.

    @DamnDiva Do you have any LastException files in your documents folder ?

    Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

    If that is the case, please upload

    Please either create a .rar file to upload or c/p the content into your post.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

    Thank you @crinrict, for responding,

    I deleted the LastException files from my documents folder and loaded the game. The social menu was still not working. I checked, and new LastExceptions were generated. I hope this is what you were requesting to see; if not, my apologies

    @DamnDiva Please upload the actual file.

    Best to probably open the lastException file you have there in a text editor, and copy/paste the content into a new post here.

    Hey @crinrict,

    Ok. After sending you this, I went deep into my EA Sims folder and found some more mods that I thought were moved to my desktop but were not (SMH, my Gen X moment). So, after moving them, I was able to play the vanilla game with no issues this morning. I was looking at the localthumbcache file, and I was trying to open it to make sure everything was up and up. I received this message: 

    Thank you for all of your help. I was totally stumped until you pointed me in the right direction.

    @crinrict ,

    Thank you so much for the information and the help. I will keep you posted. For now, I'm playing the vanilla game, but eventually, I want to reinstall my 16,483 cc/mods!!
