hi, ever since the update, my sims wont do anything they just stand there and any task i give disappears or they start saying they are doing but just standing there.

so far I've tried repairing the game 6 times, cleared the cache 2 times, debugged the sims, reset them and still nothing the only thing i can do is go on CAS and create a sims and go on build mode but everything else is completely unplayable.
Same! My game is unplayable and my clock is frozen. My sims just stand there. I’ve tried to save and quit but the save logo gets stuck on my screen. I’ve tried repairing my game and recovering my last save file which worked for a little bit until my game froze again! I cleared my CC files but nothing seems to fix the problem.
My game clock is frozen and I can’t interact with my sims or the world. When I try to save my game, the save logo is frozen. I have to go to Task Manager to force stop the game. I’ve tried to delete CC files and recover my last game file but the problem still happens.
@lucy2005b and @Blue6864 Please move the Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and test your saves. You don't need to save your progress; the point is to find out whether the saves run better.
If your main saves are still affected, try recovering a(nother) backup. Make sure to test either a different backup or a fresh copy of one you've already tried—the point is that this backup can't have been exposed to mods or custom content at all since this problem started happening.
Please also post a screenshot of the contents of the saves folder, as in, I'd like to see the save files themselves. Make sure their modified dates and file sizes are showing.

@Lucy2005br What exactly do you mean by broken: are you having exactly the same symptoms as the other users in this thread, or is something else going on? Did you previously use mods or cc? Please also let me know what platform you're playing on/
the only thing i can do is create sims and build my sims won’t actually do anything they just stand there the only thing they can do watch tv for some reason, i give them a task and it either deletes itself or they say they are doing it but they just stand still.

My game is working now (hopefully it stays that way), there was a random file in my mods folder. I deleted it and my game is no longer freezing. Thank you for helping me!
Nevermind my game froze again!
Here's a screenshot of my save files. Also, I moved my mod folder to my desktop and the game was not freezing. I moved the mod folder back and my game froze. I don't know if it's the MCCC mod or the recent update from the game. But I have the most updated MCCC mod and I don't understand why my game is not working. My game didn't start freezing until I got the most recent game update yesterday.
