Here's a screenshot of my save files. Also, I moved my mod folder to my desktop and the game was not freezing. I moved the mod folder back and my game froze. I don't know if it's the MCCC mod or the recent update from the game. But I have the most updated MCCC mod and I don't understand why my game is not working. My game didn't start freezing until I got the most recent game update yesterday.
@Blue6864 Your save file sizes look fine, which is good to see. I think you know the issue is another mod or cc item that you haven't caught yet, so please test all of the rest. If you have a lot, the 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient:

Please keep in mind that you may have more than one bad file, so you'll need to test everything at least once.

@Lucy2005br You can trim the screenshot so it's smaller; I only need to see the File Explorer window itself.

What if it’s not a mod, but a corrupted save file? I only play with one mod that’s updated and I deleted all CC files. I think the save file is corrupted. Do you know how I can fix it?

@Blue6864 Did you ever try loading a backup of the save?

You can also try playing with a different household within the same save. If that works, then the problem is the main household or the lot, and then you need to test each one separately. Move the main household to a different lot and play them, and if they're fine, you know the lot is the issue. If the household runs poorly on a new lot, then one or more of the sims are the issue.

I think that worked! I moved the household to a different lot and they didn’t freeze. I moved them back to the original lot (demolished the home and added it again) and they didn’t freeze there too! I don’t know if my sims or the lot was corrupted, but luckily my game is working again. I also did this with a recovered save so I don’t know if that helped too. Thank you so much for your help, this actually worked!
