Game will not launch with Mods installed

Thanks! But I really need you to repro this in a clean vanilla game without any Mods. Rename the Sims 4 folder again then launch the game to the main menu so a new one is generated. Quit then COPY the save you loaded in this video into the newly generated Sims 4 > saves folder, then load the game and play as you did before. Does it still happen? If so quit again without saving then load the save again and make a new recording and upload it.

Ok so when I do this the game works perfectly. Does this mean something is wrong with my mods or I can't use them anymore?

Yes. Moved your posts to the Mods forum as the Mac Tech forum is for Mac tech issues, not 3rd party content issues affecting Windows and Mac users. Hopefully someone will be able to help you further. @aelizabeth116 If your game will launch without mods but not with them, it means at least one mod (not all of them!) needs to be removed or replaced with the updated version.

A starting point for removing and updating mods is Broken/Updated Mods & CC . Note that there will be a new thread tomorrow for patch day but that this one will still be available, linked in Mod/CC Issues master post - and of course many mods will need new updates.
If you still have issues after that, instructions on testing your mods are in the how-to post. I can step you through some of that as well, but please note that my focus after the patch tomorrow has to be on the mod list and I'll be checking for support posts in the time leftover.
