Game with CC not loading after recent Mac updates

Question

There was a Mac update a couple weeks ago, followed by a sims update, and ever since then, I cannot load my game with any mods. I've sorted through all of them. It won't work with more than 10-15 files. I've been running the sims on this computer for years and constantly encounter issues but this is the longest ive gone without it being resolved. I've deleted and reinstalled the game twice, started a new mods file, even kept the same mods but made a fresh mods folder. Please help!! I want to play.

Ehagen28​ Please try this:

Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document &gt; Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save.&nbsp;
Now go download a set of new CC items. I usually use furniture by peacemaker because I know for certain it's all working.&nbsp;
Install&nbsp;one file in your Mods folder.
Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
Exit and put the rest of the set in.
Test again.

Let me know if this new-folder, new-CC test works. If it does, you can try copying older files in.&nbsp;
