I was able to solve this issue. After trying to open the game and letting it run for about 3-5 minutes, an error message popped up "[de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b]." From here I looked up the error number and found out it was due to my MODs folder (even though I never used mods). All I had to do was delete the MODs folder and it runs fine now.
SpringRhyme There's no way your entire folder caused this.
