My issue started out with getting error notifications for S4MP when loading into a game, despite having uninstalled S4MP, and being unable to delete saves created while using S4MP. I ignored the issu...

Rachelas11​ Let's get you started with a clean setup to make sure that your issue isn't caused by mods. 

  1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
  2. Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
  3. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
  4. Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
