Go To School... Is it any good?

I looked for a thread like this, but couldn't find one.

Has anybody downloaded The Sims 4:Get to School mod?

If so, is it any good? Is it laggy? Will I be able to play it on a low spec laptop? Does it make the game bug out? Is it irritating? Does it work properly? Etc.?

Let me know, thanks :D

  • I adored the idea of following my kids and teens to school at first, but then I realized how much hard work it took to get grades up. To get grades up menial tasks had to be performed SO MANY TIMES that it was insane. If it was easier to fill the work productivity bar then I might like it, since that way I might get to socialise with other kids.
Another problem I had was that NPCs were being culled at faster rates than ever before. For whatever reason I never went to school with any of the same kids everyday, making it actually harder to make friends.
I also had problems at first, like many, with kids turning up to my house for school. I fixed it eventually, but I uninstalled it after a short while because it felt like tedious work rather than play.
It's an incredible mod, sure, and it's amazing what Zerbu has created, but I can't enjoy it as much as I hoped to.

I think it's great! Don't expect official EP quality, though. It's a bit repetitive the first few days, but it gets good after that.
The only thing I find annoying is the amount of child and teen sims it generates to fill the school. I recommend not adding in the student generator mod it comes with, and just making a few children and teens to move into the world.

Which file is this so I can delete it.
  • I like it thought it was the best out there at least your Sim can go to the job and participate I just can't seem to advance my Teacher she is still a Janitor.
