Gshader Malware?

Hi all, I was scrolling through the Sims 4 Reddit and I found a thread about how the creator of the mod gshade had added malware into the mod during one of the latest updates. I don't know if I'm allowed to link to reddit but I wanted to pass on this concern. I don't use this mod personally.

If anyone knows if I can link to the reddit post please let me know and I will. Or I can just post the picture.
