guitar keeps disappearing
hi, there. I've now had to buy 3 guitars, because they keep disappearing. they're not in my sims inventory, or the household inventory. it's getting a little frustrating, and I'm not sure what to do

the guitar would be on the lot, the sim would play it, put in back down on the ground, and then it just disappears. she has not traveled off of the lot, she'll just take a step back and it's gone. I'm playing on a pc, and I've used cheats before, like moveobjects, but I usually turn it back off when I'm done placing something. I did not use the cheat on the guitar either.

Hi, thereYou just put it down and it disappears. That is indeed a strange phenomenon.Do you have a mod/cc installed? And if possible, can you attach an image where we can see the entire site of the house where the guitar disappears? If it is a public lot, only write the lot name so we can find out. Is there a specific location where the guitar disappears? Or does it disappear no matter where it is placed on the property? And it would be more helpful tell us which guitars disappeared.
Please follow the steps below to check.
1. First, check to see if the violin will also disappear in the data you are playing.
2. After checking about violin, exit the game without saving.
3. Move the "The Sims 4" folder located in Document > Erectronic Arts to the desktop. (It is a good idea to create a folder with a descriptive name, such as the name of the Sim you are playing with, and move it into that folder.)
4. Start the game with the EA folder empty.
(Start from the sim creation. This is just for testing, so if it is too much trouble, you can start with the first sim that appears.)
5. Start in the same lot where the guitar disappeared and see if the guitar disappears. Check the violin too.
If the object disappearance still occurs in the new game, quit the game, repair the game from the app you are using (Origin or EA app), and check again if the object disappearance occurs with the test data.
If the object loss does not occur with the new test data, then there may be a problem with the data you are currently playing with.
