HELP! Households were moved to a random lot (lost all skills/jobs/relationships)
Hello all,
Please help with this urgent issue:
I updated the game, and now when I went back, some households were randomly moved to an empty lot and they LOST ALL skills, jobs, relationships, basically their whole history.
Can you please give some advice on how I could resolve this awful issue? Thanks 😢
–I HAVE "repaired" the game in Origin, but to no avail.
–I have NOT saved the game, so hopefully, I will still be able to come to a solution.
(–I do have mods, but I am always careful when updating. I also went into the game with NO mods and the same issue occurs, so I highly doubt this whole misery is caused by CC or mods.)
Hi @LillaKap. Do you have something like iCloud or OneDrive syncing your Documents folder? I wonder if it might have "fixed" your Sims by sticking an older save back in. Sims does *not* play nice with syncing programs.
If that's not a possible cause, moving mods out won't fix a problem that an outdated one already caused in your save. You might need to revert to an earlier save:To go back to an earlier version of (“roll back”) your save, start at the Main Menu. Select Load Game, then pick from the list for the save you want an earlier version of, but don’t select Play. Instead, click on the disk symbol with a back arrow. This will show you a list of earlier versions of that save. Only the most recent times you saved will be here. Pick one and select Recover.
