@bdema47 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@bdema47 Okay. Did you have any career mods, especially part-time careers or "gig" mods? If so, update those and put them back in; see Broken/Updated Mods & CC . If updates aren't avalable for the ones you use, try a "save as" in-game.
