Help please with mod folder issue

I've been away from TS4 a looooonnngggg time and just came back. I decided on a fresh start and deleted my mods folder. I'm limiting myself to just a little CC, no script mods.

Problem:

Nothing at all is showing up. My path is Documents/Electronic Arts/ The Sims 4 /Mods

I have the Resource.cfg script in the mods folder. in game options I have CC turned on. I have restarted my game several times trying everything I can think of.

I ended up deleting the folder after xfering the cc and let the game make its own folder I think the Resource.cfg script I had was bad. Thank you for the reply.

ladybreid Please make sure this is the folder Sims 4 is reading. I don't just mean the file path you can see in the address bar but the full location, what shows up if you right-click one of these files and select Properties > General. Compare it to the path to the folder the game is currently using, as described here:
