Home and Land Company Mod

I had previously been using the Home and Land Company Mod. I decided to delete it because keeping up with the lawn moving as a bit too much. I deleted the Mod, but the grass still grows. The lawnmower still shows up for you to buy, but you can't use it or hand pick the grass, it causes an error message. So basically, the grass just keeps growing and growing but you can't do anything about it. In the end, I just have to move to a different house every so often because it gets to be a jungle and the Sims hate it. 

Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? I made sure it was out of my Cursed Forge list of mods and in the Game Menu with the list of mods I use.
