Household limit won't raise using Mccc

I'm using mccc to bring up the household's limit but after I do what the warning tells me to do, it still doesn't work. I don't know if it's a problem with using the gallery because I use that to add more sims to my household, but it still says that it will exceed the limit of household even when I set the limit to above 16.
