Household

@grilesf I'm a bit unsure I understand what you're saying.

You are on the map and try to load a certain family but it loads another or do you get an error when trying to load that specific family ?

Maybe some pics will make it clearer.

My saved household 10 is the one I am trying to join which I show in the first picture. In the second picture is when I click pay it tries to load as another family played which is named as “dishive” on a house. In the third picture you can see the symbols and if I can click the green ones like at the big blue house I can play as the Delgado family which is one of the games crested families. I also show the house with my mouse  that I was living at and it doesn’t let me go.

Nobody lives in the house you point to. You can create a family and move in. If you have a family in another save that lives there you will have to load that save instead of the one you loaded.

But I do have a family that I had saved and I tried to load it into that house because it is the one I lived in. For some reason it’s only happening to one of my families though.

@grilesf  Did they perhaps move because of Neighborhood Stories? Check in manage households and see if you can find them there.

I already clicked manage household but it shows up as another household and it’s like mine doesn’t exist.

Looks like you didn't save the game then.

I did save my game though I have 6 different saves from the household.

Ok for some reason I am able to play the household now, it will only allow me to play it if I hit resume now but for some reason before it wouldn’t let me hit resume. Thank you all for trying to help me.

That means that it was in another save. Great that you figured it out.
