How big is your CC folder?

That's very similar to how I organize my folder too. It seems to work so much better that way than when it was all open.

But I don't have some of things like facial hair and skintones that you do, as I don't care for facial hair or use skintones. But I have "adult clothes" and "child and toddler clothes" separated. And I haven't made my own mods so my "mods" are in "Mods for real" with TMEX ones in their own. And I have a folder that I put "new" things in until I can "process" them with Sims4Studio. Then I sort them into the proper folder. (It's just easier to see what I need to process if I have them separately at first. I certainly don't need to go through all the adult clothes to find the 2 new pieces!)

My husband says I don't actually play the game, I just download CC and then sort and purge and repeat. So right now 27 GB. He might be a bit right... But there's sooo much nice stuff out there.

My husband should hang with your husband...he says the exact same thing. He likes that though because before I just browsed nordstrom with not so great results for him. Now I live vicariously through my fabulous Sims. Yeap...crazy train, I'm well aware

Over 60 GB... ? The game takes about 10-15 minutes to load and runs smoothly after that. I'm pretty happy with that since i'm in love with hoarding CC. ?
I've a gaming PC and 32 GB of RAM, so it's not a big deal so far.

I only have MCCommand centre installed in my game currently, I sometimes add extra cc in but I usually remove it not long after, I'm pretty rubbish at keeping my mod folder up to date

What kind of super computers some of you have to have 6G! I have 600M and the game slows down considerably !!!

I have a 2018 acer aspire 5 (no where near a super computer lol) and it runs my 15 gb of cc pretty well. I play with medium settings and in laptop mode, though.

You should try playing around with your settings
