How to access sim preferences using mccc

I haven't used mods or mccc in a while now and I just yesterday had to add mccc back because I absolutely had to have another spot for a new baby in my household. Anyhow, I am wanting to look at the preferences on one of my sims and I click the sim, then the mccc option. I am pretty sure before I had to turn on cas.fulleditmode to even be able to do this using mccc and I did that. But I am not getting to see the preferences or any of the other stuff like what their voice is like and such. There is absolutely nothing available in top left. I can only do my sims clothes. Is this a new thing or a known problem or what? I hope someone can help me as mccc discord is down for the holidays and I feel stuck. :(
