how to delete moodlets

my sims are pretty popular...but friends/elderly are dropping like flies! and they are constantly sad for 2 days! how do I delete the moodlets?
  • Hello
If you use mods and have the UI Cheats extension mod, you can right click on a moodlet and remove a moodlet.

There has been some cheats that have been removed by the Developers through a recent patch . SimGuruGrant explains about this here

( There are more tweets when you click on the above tweet )

The buff cheats no longer work
A simmer called TwistedMexi has made a mod to enable simmers to be able to use the cheats again

That makes a whole lot of sense now. Thank you @rosemow !

    You’re welcome :)
  • There is multiple ways to remove moodlets, with mods and not.
    - The Moodlet Solver (A potion bought with satisfaction points)
    - Do (( Ctrl+Shift+C )) on Windows and type " testingcheats true " | then shift-click on your sims and click "Make Happy" - this will fill needs and hopefully override the sadness out of a full mood
    - MC Command Centre script mod
  • I too have been having this issue. I tried one of those moodlet cheats but it didn't work. I don't think I have tried the Moodlet solver but I'll try that next. I have literally tried everything else on this list and nothing :(
  • If you have the most updated game, I do believe Seasons came with a lot of bugs and basically broke the cheat-system? I know a lot of cheats aren't currently working. Maybe they don't. Do try the emotion solver, though, seeing as it isn't technically a cheat.
I think the next safest bet would be MC Command Centre.
  • I do have MCCC and thought that all the death announcements were from the mod and was about to delete it. Hopefully the new update on the 31st can fix these issues. I've been avoiding playing because of it.
  • I only know of the following:
    - MCCC
    - Moodlet Solver
    - "Make Happy"
    - " sims.remove_all_buffs "
Are you saying none of those work?
  • - "Make Happy"
    - " sims.remove_all_buffs "

are the ones i am 100% certain don't work. MCCC and Solver I have to play around it. I was trying other ways other than the script for MCCC
  • I get it. TS-TS4 have always needed script mods to make the game run as smoothly as possible though, so I guess you can't run away from it forever.
