How to edit "Pre-Existing" sims relationships?
My sim and his boyfriend used a surrogate. I just impregnated the surrogate through MCCC and after the baby was born I added it to my household. However, I cannot make either of it's parents the father; not in CAS because it's a "pre-exisiting" sim and not through MCCC. I've done this before and have always been able to change relations through MCCC. Does anyone know any other ways to change relationships or get past or a cheat to ignore gameplay rules? Thanks
You will have to wait until the baby is an infant, possibly a toddler, before you can change relationships between them and the parents. You should be able to do it either way, in CAS with the cas.fulleditmode cheat active or with MCCC. But in my experience, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. And since it's a same sex male couple, you still might not be able to make one of them a parent. I know MCCC can be a challenge with 2 mothers and will probably be a challenge with 2 fathers to show correctly in the family tree. You might have to settle for one or both of the parents adopting the child.
