I can’t cancel my Sim’s acting gig that has already been but won’t go away

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, Get to Work and Dine Out
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sim had an audition, never went to it, got a notification they had failed but the audition never went away and now when I click cancel it still doesn’t go away.
What happens when the bug occurs? I click “cancel audition” on both the job tab and the phone and the sim briefly does it before the action disappears and the audition stays.
What do you expect to see? The audition should be cancelled and my sim should be able to check for gigs again.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game. I have also tried repairing my game but it doesn’t change anything.

    I tried leaving the agency, but the audition stayed.

    I think I might have to leave the career, but so upset because I had made so much progress!

    I have this problem too, I accidentally canceled the pop-up of my Sim going to the casting so it said she failed and didn't get the role, but in the job window the time for the casting stayed. I can't cancel the gig and changing agencies doesn't do anything either. Even after leaving the acting career and starting it again she's still stuck with the same gig.

    Guess that was it for my Sim's great acting career....
