I cannot modify infants in cas on the sims 4

I've tried to modify my infants since the infant update was released, but I have not been able to play much since then. It does not allow me to edit infants in cas unless I upload them from the gallery, and when I do that they do not show up in the gameplay and completely disappear. I saw a youtube video saying that you have to age up a newborn into an infant,  but when I do that it ages them into toddlers instead. Am I doing something wrong?

    @nistiel 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
