I can't organise my mods/cc

Hi,
My cc was always organised roughly into folders. EG. Mods/Hair/Creator/files or Mods/Makeup/Eyelashes/files etc. I had an altered resource.cfg file that allowed this. I have come back after a long break and cannot for the life of me get the game to read cc/mods using this type of sorting. The standard resource.cfg now looks the same/similar as the altered one. I have tried using that and swapping it out for an altered one and I cannot get it to recognise cc/mods past a couple of folders. EG. mods/hair/files or mods/rugs/files. What am I doing wrong?

edit - Nevermind, after the 5th or 6th attempt it's magically working. No idea why, I don't think I did anything differently (at least I didn't notice doing anything differently).
