I can't turn in motes to become a spellcaster

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Ask to learn magic and leave magic realm before you collect motes and save game and exit. Will not be able to turn in motes after.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't learn magic
What do you expect to see? The option to select turn in motes
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I asked a sage to teach me magic, I picked up 7 motes. But I am not able to turn them back in. How can I fix this?

    I had the same issue. I waited about 5 minutes our time and went to another spellcaster and had them recast see notes or whatever it's called. Collected them again and turned them into Simeon. My Sims a spellcaster now. Hopefully it works.

    @lauradynamite I'm having the same problem playing on the Xbox x Sims 4. Will let me turn them in at all no options
