i downloaded Sims 4 onto another drive and the mods folder is missing

So it originally said that it was going to my D: drive on my PC but it didn't have enough space so I downloaded it to my C: drive that has more than enough space. it popped up saying d: electronic arts/sims4 or something, then when I went to download it to the C: it said C: sims4. I do not have a MAC. I went into the game turned on Mods and script Mods, started a games played for 2 mins, saved the game, then exited. I back into files and it still didn't show up. Please help I am so confused I cant even explain, Thank you!
