I have tried everything and nothing is working

So basically, my sims have not been working. It will take me to the main menu, but it will just load and load and nothing will happen. I tried everything. I took out all mods, still did not work. I u...

2s5v012c3clw​ Please do this exact sequence of steps and let me know the result so I can get you to the right area for support:

  1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
  2. Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
  3. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
  4. Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.

If that doesn't work, please let me know if you're on PC or Mac. If it does work:

  1.  Copy your save files from your old folder into the new one.
  2. Test in your regular save.

If that doesn't work, please let me know.

    Hi there i just did everything you suggested. It works but all of my saves are gone even though all my saves are in the saves folder. It seems that one of mods must be broken. However, I have not seen anyone saying they are broken.

      2s5v012c3clw​ Not all mods that broke with this patch have necessarily been identified and reported. Many that did are now on the "Updated" list here. Not all mods/creators can be reported on in these official forums, and some aren't reported on anywhere because of mod content or creator conduct. If mods you use aren't on any list, see 50-50 testing in How to Use Mods and CC.

    Yes i tried that and even that does not work unfortunately. I’m om pc. It still just kicks me out of the game as soon as i get to the start page
