Incompatibility between two dlc?
I believe there may be a bug regarding The Sims 4: Paranormal and The Sims 4; Star Wars: Journey to Batuu DLCs, any attempts to end a vacation on Batuu and return to your Haunted Household leads to the game entering an endless loading screen, whilst simultaneously making the household unplayable. Aside from any sims you took on the vacation of course.
Any attempts at spawning or dragging a Household sim to your location (Batuu) could result in a Critical Script Failure, and then a crash.
Any attempt at just playing the haunted household on its own without playing as the vacationer will result in a never ending loading screen, and inevitable crash.
if you attempt to resume save after an endless loading screen, you will find that your vacation has ended, but you cannot leave.
(This Last Bit Is Out Of Context, but this would make a really solid SCP, or continuation of the DLC, could even brand it “Escape from Batuu”)
but that’s not all, apparently this corrupts the save slowly, spreading to containers and causing weird item collisions or making said items completely unusable/intangible.
I have yet to find a fix for this, which is discouraging because they’re both really great DLC, but I believe there may be something wrong with the region mapping for those particular resident types, it almost seems like by having that type of lot in and of itself, the problem arose.
and may even have affected it’s overall compatibility (Paranormal Investigators) with all vacation location DLC. As this problem also happened after a Sim Vacationed to Granite falls, just significantly less problematic
