So I have this glitch that's been present for some time and nothing has been done to resolve it. Every time I try to put my infant in their crib, which is the base game one, they don't go in their crib to sleep. Instead, they stay awake and are stuck to the sim's heels who tried to put them down being dragged around all over the place.. Is there any bug fix for this yet? Nothing infant related shows up in my errors, this just seems to be an ongoing bug.
@amazzella527 Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)
I already have, and even gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling my game and starting from scratch. The bug is still there.
@amazzella527 Have you done a clean folder? That will often clear glitches. Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Test in a new save. If that works, copy just the contents of folders from the old folders into the new ones, but don't copy over files the game has made - use the new ones.
