Infinite Loading Screen

When I travel with my sims to go to another lot (in this case its to a restaurant lot), the loading screen takes forever. The music chimes like normal (the music you hear when you've loaded to the new lot) but nothing happens, the plumbob continues to spin and the loading menu does not go away.

My game is updated, I've repaired it, deleted the cache files, restarted multiple times. I'm not sure what to do.

    Please try this:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
    2. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
    3. Start with New to test if you can start a new game.

Let me know if that works. After that, we can try putting content back.

Okay, I was able to start the game no issue after moving the sims folder to my desktop. I'm not sure what you meant about "reset your options" so I assumed it meant to make sure mods and scripts were checked under game options. I was able to then create a new save file and it loads up with no problem.

Should I now try to put the content back and reload my old save file that has the toddler?

I did some trouble shooting and loaded a family in the same save file that has a toddler. THAT toddler is making noise. But when I load back into my main household, the problem with my toddler still remains.

Sorry for all the messages. I did further digging. When I enter CAS, the toddler makes no noise. you can see the movements and motions she makes but still nothing. Even when I try to adjust her voice, no sound comes out. However, if I make her an infant and then switch her back to a toddler, I have to give her new traits and when I click those traits, her voice DOES generate like they normally do when you select traits for a sim. But that's as far as it goes. When I enter the game again, she is back to being mute.
