inventory missing

Since the latest update / patch (had to wait for both, since my main save is on long lifespan) none of my sims have any items in their personal inventories. 2 of these guys have been around since eco lifestyle came out (when the save was started), as they have taken a couple (several) potions of youth. I currently have 5 or 6 active households in this save, and no-one has a single item in their inventory.

I have loaded backup copies of the save, and even different saves that are older, and no-one has a single item in their inventory - not even the free earbuds 🙂

Obviously, I have been closing without saving, in case this can be fixed

I removed all mods, deleted the localthumbcache.package, and repaired the game,

I do not own all the kits, but with the exception of the new highschool pack, I own all the expansion packs, game packs and stuff packs
