I just got Knifty Knitting recently and I've been loving it! I've noticed that on Plopsy, there were crafted instruments and herbal remedies for sale. So, I tried to sell some on Plopsy but the option to sell on Plopsy did not come up. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature. If I see something on Plopsy, I'd like to be able to sell it on there myself as well.
I finally had a chance to get back into my game last night. When I went into the game, I crafted the instruments in a vanilla game, no mods or CC, then tried selling it. It did not work. I could not try the herbal remedies because I did not have any ingredients and it would have taken forever for me to get the right ingredients for one herbal remedy.
I am having this issue as well. The option to sell on plopsy does not show up for herbal remedies. My sim personally crafted the herbal remedy in question, and it was crafted after the installation of Nifty Knitting. The save I was using existed before installing Nifty Knitting so I tried creating a brand new save and the problem still existed. The option to sell on Plopsy does show up for other crafted items, specifically photos. I can see herbal remedies for sell when 'browsing plopsy'.
I'd like to know as well if this is by design or not.
I'm pretty sure this is by design. You can sell them in a retail lot though if you have Get to Work. I have a store dedicated to herbal remedies and the ones you can purchase in the jungle stalls, etc (except Faraday Fizz for some reason that can't be sold in a shop). If memory serves me correctly I think I used a cloning machine to create enough to fill the store. I haven't tried but you might be able to sell them at a market stall too if you have city living/eco living.
I can't sell knitted plants on retail lots for some reason, or rugs. But herbal remedies are fine for retail stores.
I know this post is very old but it's the only thing I could find online. I have reason to believe this may not be by design and is a bug. Like the OP I have purchased herbal remedies from Plopsy before, it actually hadn't even occurred to me to sell them on plopsy though until a recent save when I was trying to filter items that were in my inventory since I had listed a bunch of crafts and the game filters my herbal remedies under Plopsy > Available To List, but from the item in both the inventory and in world there's no option to list on Plopsy. So if not by design for the player to be able to list the item (that the game does?) then the inventory seems to be bugged.
