Issue with vampire run after latest patch update

Before the latest patch, vampire sims who have the vampire run power would only use it occasionally. There was also an option to route to locations normally with the generic "go here" option and the vampire sim would, instead, just walk normally to the location. Now, I'm noticing that if they have this power, they 'vampiricly run' everywhere, even if they're only going from one space in the same room (say, a 2x2 bathroom) to another. There is no "go here" option. I have tried this with and without mods, it's the same issue.

When I go into MCCC and check the buffs, I notice that choosing to remove the buff_vampire_spiritpowers_vampirerunenabled buff restores everything back to normal (i.e. the "go here" option is restored and the "vampiricly run" option is still there, also). Is this normal and how this power is meant to function, now? I haven't played in while, but I do very clearly recall the vampire run power being optional and vampires with the power still being able to walk normally.
