it's official... I have a CC addiction

I download new CC every day and I already have about 10gb of CC in my game. I need some sort of rehab or group therapy lol

I think I have more fun CC Shopping and organizing my CC Folders then actually using any of the CC in my game. Like 9 times out of 10 when I'm actually in the game I'll go with game content rather then CC (I certainly have more CC then I could ever use) but collecting it makes me happy and I find it really relaxing.

Silly I know but the truth lol.

I love CC shopping. It keeps me from doing real shopping which is a good thing :D

Mmmm idk... like I like the fact that my CC is now organized after two years of a huge CC mess, but its soooo much work.

After the mess that was my CC during my Sims 3 time I made sure to be super organized both in my actual mods folder in game and in my back up computer file. It's separated by category and gender and every creator gets their own folder with their site location listed and ever item is saved with a picture of the item so I can easily reference to find what I'm looking for. I upload in batches and then go into game to see if anything is broken and/or if I end up disliking it (checked both in CAS and in actual play mode) I remove it right away.

As I said i find the whole process relaxing...lol...

Searching through tumblr posts, the Sims Resource, and modder websites for CC?

Let's just say I certainly don't think it's a bad way to spend a nice day off...

True. Thing is it keeps me from actually playing. Right now I'm downloading object recolours... that takes a while

I'm​ addicted. I download at least 1 piece of cc a day and I'm constantly making some. We need to have a cc lovers anonymous thread don't you think?

This is why I refuse to download ANY CC what-so-ever. Once you start you can never stop... The majority of your time is spent on websites looking for the next new cool thing and you will literally spend more time getting/creating CC than playing the game. It's not worth it. And if you ever want to share anything you make, it's nearly impossible to get anyone to download it because, I for one, AM NOT going through pages of different column types and floor patterns just to make a house look "good".

ADVICE: Delete ALL CC and start over. Make yourself promise not to use any. Some mods are okay though, just the ones that fix the game or change it to how you think it should of been already. But CC is like glitter. Nuff said.

I know the feeling. My cc addiction has become a problem for me to the point where I have problem playing because of it. Maybe we should start a CC anonymous? :D I've been thinking about making a clean slate with cc and start over, but it's SO hard. :s

I refused to download any CC for the first few years of s4 because i screwed up 3 so much with cc. then recently i started playing berry sims again so i needed colourful skin, eyes and hair to match so i was like 'oh its only a couple of package files it wont be so bad'....
Welllll then i started downloading skin details because yknow, freckles are cute...
then i was lik oh i need some makeup to go with this...
then i was like i suppose i should get some maxis match clothes
then i downloaded the entire contents of several cc creators archives and went on a pose spree and now i have a 5gb mods folder and haven't played sims properly in 3 days because every time i do i think 'oh i need a new pose' and get sucked into downloading more.

Please send help.
