Language barrier

i haven't played sims 4 on pc in about 40 weeks i went on yesterday and decided to start a new game, as I was creating a new character, something came up and I had to log out. When I logged back on everything was in Russian or some weird language that doesn't use letters. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and still it comes up in that weird language. Help

    you were correct! i don't use mods but my daughter sometimes uses my laptop and has them on her side and it somehow affected mine thank you!
