I am having the same issue even after removing all mods and CC out of my game. Did you figure this out?

@Gardenia1989 After removing mods (and deleting localthumbcache), have you tried a game repair? If after all this, you're still getting LEs, I would recommend you try a fresh folder, since eometimes mods can place data in places you don't expect it.
To do this, drag your entire sims 4 folder to another location (like your desktop), or simply rename it. This way when you relaunch the game, it will create an all-new folder. Before moving any of the contents of your original folder (like your saves) into the new folder, check and see if you're still getting LEs even with this new, clean game folder.
