Mods usually aren't the issue, it is the hosting that was an issue. It is easy to slip in bad code to harm people in personal info sites, such as google drive, and thus only more official sites such as nexus are usually allowed as long as no adult info is linked too. So while YOU may not be anything but helpful, EA has to deal with all the millions of people of which some may wish to get viruses or trojans in peoples systems using the same style of hosting you posted. Please keep up the good work helping people though and enjoy the game.
I'm new to modding and didn't really know what sites to use for uploading. Some of the ones I looked at wanted to manually approve each one and were picky about content. Nexus seems like an easier solution. Is this link OK?

The one on nexus has another fix for a different issue that I didn't encounter. I made it for @Aetere based on the LE info he sent me.

Ah but at any rate it fixed my issues too and no longer get the last exception issues so maybe other people will have luck with it.

The rules about Mod links in the Sims section are very strict.
So you can't link Mods here at all.
What you can do is telling people where to find it if you use the Nexus for example.
Using your Google Drive or similar is not possible at all of course, that would be way to dangerous.
Edit: To elaborate on this, of course not because Google Drive would be dangerous per se, people just could provide hazardous data for download this way.
Using third party content is always of your own risk!

I did review the forum rules before posting. It doesn't mention anything about links to mods. It only says no advertisements of any kind. I guess it could loosely be considered as advertisement? That's the only reason why I questioned it. I did have a nexus link and they took that down too. It's OK. It just would have been avoided if they stated that somewhere in the rules. People can continue to PM me directly if they want the mod link (nexus). It's called Degree Tracker Fix if you want to search yourself.
