@CharityCodes Did you download any SIms from the gallery ? Those can be affected.
This is probably also the same as your error: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/CURRENT-ISSUE-Error-109-b29ba599/td-p/9483629/ at least the exception has the same category number
The problem with the division by zero is (as the MCCC folks explained to me) is an error of the game trying to calculate the GPA of a sim who never attended class or has grades (hence cheated). It can also happen on Gallery Sims if someone cheated those and then uploaded.
So pretty sure it will occur without mods if a Sim has this particular setting through cheats or mods. Best test is probably to create a new Sim (from scratch) and see if he gets the division by zero)
LEs have their own section cause it's usually hard to tell which pack they belong to (especially for folks not used to read them)
I did not use any University cheats and still keep getting this LE. I do have mods but none of them seem to be the issue. My sim dropped out of school and it didn't work? I was for some reason still enrolled in the uni but not the classes so I re-dropped out and now nonstop get the error. The sims are my own sims. It's becoming very aggravating even though it doesn't affect gameplay.

If you're not opposed to mods, did you try the degree tracker fix on nexusmods?

Not saying all of the issues here are completely fixed, but it does seem the ones I was addressing with my mod are incorporated into the main game now. If you have the mod, you can remove it and try playing without it for a while.
- Timocchio19694 years agoSeasoned Rookie@CharityCodes I downloaded your fix. Didn't work. Then yesterday I disabled the DU exp pack & then saved a new save without DU. Then I reenabled DU & other than having to replace the missing DU CAS items & objects, all seemed fine. None of my new Sims were students or affiliated with DU. I even changed the DU Venues into regular residences. LOL Then the dreaded degree tracker LE came again! I don't know what else to do. This has been going on since DU came out. I'm just going to continue to play my save. I have invested so much time in it. Will the degree tracker error irrevocably damage my save or can I continue playing it? Thank you for any input. 🙂
- CharityCodes2 years agoRising Veteran@Timocchio1969 I have not been monitoring this and I know it's old, but no, the degree tracker error is just annoying. The fix is old and probably needs updating, but I never get this error anymore, so I don't have a way to test.

This LE is driving me insane.
I used PlumbobKingdom's Ultimate Save File for my personal save and I was able to track the error back to Lilith Vatore having a cheated uni degree in Communications. I deleted her, but no luck with the error sorting itself out.
I know the risks of using other people's saves, but I love what this creator did using TOOL. Oh well... I'll have to work on a fresh one if I don't want the error - I guess. And I'm glad I know now to double check that Sims from gallery aren't made with cheats. In my testing I found sooo many NPC townie groups from really popular creators with uni cheats - yikes. - kat-stvrd2 years agoNew Adventurer@hypno-fr0g I am using the srsl blank save and I have downloaded a lot of townies from gallery, especially npcs, could this be the issue? I'll have to delete them from game and just use mccc to copy paste appearance to randos then. I will be back to tell you about the outcome!
- kat-stvrd2 years agoNew Adventurer@hypno-fr0g You were correct. I went to a new normal EA save and the only townies I brought over are the ones I made myself, no LE.....and I didn't have to go looking for a needle in hay with my cc and mods. Thank you!
